JOB SUMMARY: The Software Developer (Entry Level) will work closely with a small group of developers. They will be involved with the creating of applications that take into consideration all aspects of application development architecture design including – performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, and error logging and testing. The important skills for this position are C#, .Net, SQL, Angular, and other various front end web development technologies. A significant portion of this role’s time will be dedicated to quality assurance testing and writing unit tests to help ensure the reliability of the applications being developed.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Full stack development
  • Support/Development of front end of web-based applications
  • Support and development of existing applications
  • Support and development of several websites based on CMS technologies
  • Perform QA testing and write unit tests, working closely with the QA team — a significant and ongoing responsibility in this role Provide technical input/guidance when needed
  • Research new technologies and share how they could be integrated into our environment
  • Troubleshooting and debugging both internal and external code
  • Use of Agile development methodology


Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or other IT related field preferred
  • 2-year degree in programming or other IT related field with additional experience may be considered
  • 0 – 2 years of experience developing software applications
  • Experience in the following technologies considered a plus:
o C#, .Net, MVC,ASP.NET, MS SQL, TypeScript, Visual Studio, Angular, HTML(5)/CSS, JS/JQuery/AJAX/AngularJS
  • Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Good judgment, logical thinker, and detail oriented
  • Ability to adapt and understand business
  • Ability to drive projects to completion
