Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL! This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources.The shift will be 4, 10 hour shifts between Monday - Friday with on-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays.

This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures. These include tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, pulmonary functions.

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
  • Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
  • Preparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
  • Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.

ExperienceRequirements:

  • Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
  • Experience working at another hospital

Education &CredentialRequirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associates Degree Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
