Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant
Location: Gate Parkway Center - Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Join the #1 Outpatient Imaging Team in Northeast Florida
Precision Imaging Centers is seeking an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist to join our Gate Parkway team as a full-time Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant.
This role is ideal for a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is interested in supporting MRI operations. The position will primarily assist the MRI department while also utilizing radiologic technology skills as needed. Opportunities for cross-training may be available based on department needs and business requirements.
What You'll Do
  • Assist MRI technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and exam workflow
  • Administer IV contrast and support patient safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Transport and monitor patients throughout the imaging process
  • Support MRI operations and departmental efficiency
  • Perform radiologic technologist duties as assigned
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • ARRT(R) Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Venipuncture competency and ability to administer IV contrast
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy outpatient imaging environment
