Position Title: Government Sales and Business Development Manager
Location: Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Government Sales and Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. The Government Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and identifying new opportunities with the US Government, primarily the USAF, Navy, and Army.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products/services and expand networks.
  • Ensure adherence to sales policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in US Government sales with the DoW, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans effectively.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
