Job description

Well Driller Operator at Roberts Irrigation
Location: Plover, WI
Job Summary
Drilling wells ranging from 8-24 inches on a Foremost Dual Rotary Drill Rig. These wells will consist ot high capacity irrigation wells. We are looking for individuals willing to learn our Foremost Dual Rotary Drill Rig Operation. Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour (opportunity to earn higher pay based on experience and drill license)
Responsibilities
Drilling of wells ranging from 8-24 inches
Welding of steel and stainless steel
Mobilize and demobilize drilling equipment to and from job site
Maintenance and repair of necessary equipment
Retrieve drill cutting samples and document accordingly
Perform well rehabilitation tasks such as scrubbing, acid baths, and underreaming
Qualifications
1 year required experience drilling
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
CDL required. Company will assist in training
Able to work proficiently both independently and within a team environment
Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Willing to work variable hours and travel in state as needed
Ability to lift 70 pounds and climb ladders frequently.
Must have a desire to learn and grow professionally and personally with willingness to help others
Communicate effectively both verbally and digitally
Prior welding experience with MIG, and SMAW highly preferred
Ability to weld in various conditions and positions
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift, skidsteer, crane, and excavator highly preferred Company will assist in training.
