Northern Arkansas Telephone Company (NATCO) is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to help support the critical systems that power our business and broadband network. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with both Windows and Linux environments, advanced networking, and helping maintain secure, reliable infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.

IT System Administrator is responsible for:
·         Administer Windows and Linux servers in both virtual and physical environments. 
·         Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise hardware and software. 
·         Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and security. 
·         Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues. 
·         Develop and maintain automation processes to improve efficiency. 
·         Perform capacity planning and storage management. 
·         Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations. 
·         Assist with disaster recovery planning and system security initiatives.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Experience administering Windows Server and Linux operating systems. 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. 
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365. 
  • Knowledge of advanced networking concepts and cybersecurity best practices. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. 
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
