Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. Responsibilities: The Applications Development Expert provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy. The position shall use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. This individual will be viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant technical degrees.
  • The proposed candidate must have at least seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Service Oriented Architecture/Service integration with Web Services, REST and security integration.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in working, defining, maintaining architectural frameworks, patterns & data structures.
  • Proficiency of scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON and other front-end scripting languages.
  • Must have knowledge in building applications with concurrency.
