Reporting to the Marketing Project Lead, the Creative Project Manager will be responsible for workflow and project management for creative projects, including print design and collateral materials, specialty engagement pieces, digital content, web, video, and email marketing campaigns. Equal parts account manager and project manager, this role is the liaison to the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) teams to help them navigate and execute their marketing needs.  


The candidate best suited for this role will be a creative thinker, thoughtful listener, and clear communicator. They are motivated to produce high-quality products and can inspire others to do the same.


Responsibilities 


Partner with HGF Teams 

Advise teams on the creative process and collaborate with them to translate goals and needs into successful projects. 

• Serve as the Marketing & Communications department point of contact for assigned HGF teams. 

• Establish relationships with assigned teams to maintain awareness of calendar and project needs. 

• Keep assigned stakeholders informed about current work status of their projects. 

• Communicate to the marketing team tasks, deadlines, and context/project background as needed. 

• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of marketing solutions according to needs and objectives.  

• Contribute to project prioritization conversations with directors and senior leadership. 

• Assist with challenging requests or issue escalations as needed. 

• Interact with and provide direction to external vendors as needed. 

• Act as a member of the core photoshoot team to help with planning, setup, and production. 

• Assist with the ongoing onboarding, management, and rollout of marketing tools. 

Manage Creative Components of Cross-Departmental Projects 

Navigate the creative for assigned HGF teams on larger projects that involve multiple departments. 

• Proactively help teams translate long-term creative projects into actionable plans with achievable deadlines. 

• Work with the Project Manager assigned to cross-departmental projects.  

• Participate in kickoff, update, and debrief meetings. 

• Clearly communicate expectations to marketing team members and stakeholders on creative deliverables. 

• Work across internal departments to coordinate smooth campaign execution and evaluation. 

• Provide quality assurance on creative for all assigned projects, including proofreading and reviewing against brand guidelines. 

• Identify and communicate potential risks, changes to scope of creative, and alternative solutions to team.  


Requirements:

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable bringing structure to creative work. They are a thoughtful communicator with strong attention to detail, can balance multiple priorities, and are committed to delivering high-quality, strategy-driven work.

• 3+ years of experience in project managing marketing campaigns for print and digital.

• Demonstrated project management experience, including managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to self-manage and multitask in a highly iterative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes.

• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including social, email, search, and programmatic.

• Experience with project management software or systems, such as Asana or Wrike.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Experience using Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva. 


Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer. 

• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 15 pounds.


Location

This role is a hybrid position based in our office in Agawam, MA. Hybrid employees are expected to be on-site 60% of the time. 


Compensation 

A competitive salary ranging from $65,000–$82,500 annually commensurate with experience.
