Job description

Zoller Canada is located in Ontario, a subsidiary of ZOLLER Inc. and is widely known as the global market leader in tool measuring and presetting machines, inspection machines, and tool management software. Our company has offices around the world and is expanding continuously.

We are looking for self-motivated, experienced professionals to join our team. Currently, we are seeking an Industry 4.0 Tech Center Engineer and Warehouse in the Zoller Canada office in Ontario

Industry 4.0 Tech Center Engineer & Warehouse - Ontario, Canada

Responsibilities:

Industry 4.0 Tech Center

Ensure the ZOLLER 4.0 Tech Center, including machines, systems, and networks, is fully operational.

Become the expert in setting up, maintaining, and using all equipment in the Tech Center.

Demonstrate ZOLLER solutions to customers in support of sales team

Train customers and staff on how to use ZOLLER equipment and software.

Measure customer sample tools using various ZOLLER machines.

Test new software and create procedures for implementing it.

Provide feedback to management for potential improvements.

Write clear technical documentation.

Respond to customer and staff questions about software applications.

Warehouse

Sort and organize materials, ensuring correct stock quantity and location entries in the system.

Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requests to determine items to be moved or shipped.

Assist in counting physical inventory.

Prepare parcels for mailing.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.

Manage domestic and international logistics for ZOLLER Canada, including truck, ocean, and air freight for shipments to customers and trade shows.

Prepare and send import documents to customers and freight forwarders for smooth border crossings.

Follow up on machine completions at ZGER, confirm payment with accounting, and release machines for shipping.

Support in any requirement needed in the office requested by the management.

Notify ZCAN employees and customers about expected delivery times and update the shipping information in the system.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada - LMIA sponsorship is not available for this role

A minimum of three years' sales and/or service experience in the field of tooling, CNC machining, or measuring equipment in Tooling Engineering

Exemplary telephone and in-person communication skills

Exceptional interdepartmental communication and people skills

Ability to learn and convey technical knowledge

Experience using software programs including Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Well organized, analytical, and the ability to cope with a sometimes-stressful work environment

Ability to work within a team, and independently

This position does not offer telecommuting/remote working conditions
