Manual / CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift Sign on Bonus!!!

Draftco, LLC – Stuarts Draft, VA
$18.00 – $30.00 per hour + 10% Shift Differential

Position Overview

Draftco, LLC is currently seeking experienced and motivated Manual/CNC Machinists to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Stuarts Draft, VA. This position is responsible for operating, setting up, and programming CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture precision parts according to specifications and quality standards.

We are looking for dependable individuals with strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position offers a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend every week.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday
3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
10% Shift Differential Included

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment
• Program and set up CNC lathes and milling machines with minimal supervision
• Manufacture precision parts according to blueprints, drawings, and quality specifications
• Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure conformance to requirements
• Make tooling and machine adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and planning data
• Perform de-burring and finishing processes when required
• Change tooling and maintain machine operation efficiency
• Complete production and quality paperwork accurately
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Perform preventative machine maintenance checks as assigned
• Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and work instructions
• Work overtime or weekends as needed to support operational demands

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining experience required
• Experience programming and setting up CNC equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of machining processes and blueprint reading
• Working knowledge of GD&T required
• Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
• Mastercam or Featurecam experience is a plus
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good manual dexterity and visual attention to detail
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment
