Core Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Utilize PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment faults.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS system.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to support manufacturing goals.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and process optimization.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned equipment downtime to minimize production disruptions

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in machining equipment maintenance.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing CNC mills and related equipment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and electrical components.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation.
  • Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
