This role exists to strengthen programming, process optimization, fixturing, and machining operations while helping develop the next generation of machinists and programmers within the organization.

As a Senior CNC Programmer, you'll play a critical role in producing precision firearm components while improving efficiency, reducing cycle times, supporting new product development, and helping scale production through advanced machining and automation initiatives.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program and optimize horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers using Mastercam
  • Perform machine setups, first articles, and process validation
  • Support machinists and setup personnel with troubleshooting and process improvements
  • Design and develop workholding and fixturing solutions
  • Improve existing programs to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times
  • Support lights-out machining and automation initiatives
  • Manufacture R&D and prototype components while providing feedback to engineering
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixture, and process issues
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams
  • Help establish inspection processes and quality standards
  • Mentor team members and contribute to professional development across the shop
