As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's C&IB organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
Expertise:
• Strong hands-on design and development experience with Java and Spring, banking/payments background is preferred. Also need to have experience in Global PayPlus (GPP)
• Solid understanding of software architecture and microservices
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes is required
• Experience designing and developing solutions using Kafka, MQ and REST APIs
• Proficiency in database design and optimization, including Mongo DB and Oracle DB
• Experience in DevOps CI/CD and Jenkins build/deploys
• JavaScript and Angular experience is a plus
• Experience using Eclipse, IntelliJ, Gradle, Maven.
Recommended/ Desired Skills:
• Experience working with Elastic-Search and Redis is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, application security, and scalability best practices.
• Experience with Agile software development methodology
