Overview
The Marketing Manager will support the Catapult Learning division and report to the Director of Marketing. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that attract, engage, and nurture educators, school administrators, and district leaders. Content marketing is at the heart of this role, but the scope extends to campaign management, demand generation, brand stewardship, and cross-functional marketing support. This role combines creativity, strategic thinking, tool proficiency, and data-driven decision-making to deliver compelling programs across multiple channels; social, blogs, email, webinars, and more that strengthen Catapult Learning's brand and drive qualified leads within the K-12 education market.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
• Develop and own the content marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives for the K-12 segment.
• Conduct/tap into audience and persona research to understand educators', administrators', and families' needs, challenges, and motivations.
• Build and manage a content calendar that integrates campaign launches, seasonal education themes, and thought leadership topics.
Content Creation & Production
• Write, edit, and produce high-quality content, including blogs, emails, videos, social media posts, case studies, newsletters, and web copy.
• Partner with subject matter experts, educators, and marketing colleagues to create authentic, credible, and relevant content.
• Oversee video production, including storyboarding, scripting, and collaborating with creative or external production partners. Generate library of light-touch, ai-assisted video assets for enagement.
Campaign & Demand Generation
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns-including email, paid, and organic channels-to generate awareness and qualified leads.
• Develop and manage nurture programs that move prospects through the funnel from awareness to conversion.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to align marketing campaigns with pipeline priorities and revenue goals.
Distribution & Promotion
• Manage and optimize distribution of content across digital channels-website, social media, email, paid campaigns, and partner platforms.
• Leverage SEO, SEM, and social media best practices to increase reach and engagement.
Measurement & Optimization
• Define and track KPIs such as social engagement, web traffic, lead generation (MQL and SQL), content ROI, funnel impact, conversion rates.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar) to measure content performance and optimize based on insights.
• Continuously test and iterate on content formats, messages, and distribution strategies.
Qualifications
The Qualifications
• 5+ years' experience in content marketing or related field, ideally within education or mission-driven organizations
• Strong creative marketing skills including writing, storytelling, and editorial skills
• Experience creating and managing multi-channel content strategies including video, social, and blogs
• Proficiency with ai-assisted content generation platforms for video, copy, social and other channels
• Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation tools like HubSpot, and analytics platforms
• Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with data-driven optimization

Tool & Platform Proficiency
The ideal candidate should be comfortable using a variety of tools that support efficient content creation, distribution, and performance tracking, including:
• Marketing & CRM Platforms: HubSpot or similar marketing automation and CRM tools (Dynamics)
• Content & Design Tools: Canva for light design work; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Firefly) is a plus, but not required
• AI-Powered Tools: Experience using AI-assisted platforms (such as ChatGPT, Copy.ai, or similar) for drafting, ideation, and content refinement inclusive of video
• Project Management Tools: Experience with platforms like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to manage content calendars, content submissions, automated workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Analytics Tools: Working knowledge or curiosity to learn Google Analytics and HubSpot reporting for tracking content performance and informing strategy
• Social Media Tools: Familiarity with scheduling tools or platforms for publishing and monitoring content across channels
