Description
Prescott News Network is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator Trainee (NIGHTS) to support production operations in a fast-paced newspaper manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining assembly line equipment while helping ensure production deadlines are met efficiently. Comprehensive on-the-job training and a structured pay progression program are provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements
  • Set up, operate, and maintain assembly line and production equipment
  • Monitor production processes to support efficiency and quality standards
  • Assist in meeting daily production deadlines and workflow goals
  • Perform basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting as needed
  • Operate a forklift safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to climb ladders and safely operate a forklift
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
