Job description

SUMMARY

The Installation Assistant will assist in the installation and repair of various window treatment applications. Working with customer satisfaction as a top priority, you will be an integral part of the team delivering final products of the highest quality.  


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the installation and repair of window treatment applications, including but not limited to curtain rods, solar shades and automated track systems. 
  • Strip / connect low voltage power systems
  • Set-up, program, and troubleshoot smart home window treatment products
  • Furnish tools, materials and supplies to team members. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of protective gear and equipment. 
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, making sure preventative maintenance is performed routinely. 
  • Ensure work areas are clean, safe and organized. 
  • Assist with any other necessary duties. 


 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in installation.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and powered hand tools.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and handle heavy materials up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Climb multiple lights of stairs
  • Work off of a 6ft-12ft A-Frame Ladder
  • Set-up and work off of a 18ft scaffold system
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
