Job description

Acorn Wildlife – Wildlife Sales Consultant / Inspector

Location: New Jersey
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $30,000 base salary + 7.5% commission (Target earnings $75,000–$120,000+)

NOW HIRING – Wildlife Sales Consultant / Inspector (Full-Time) | South NJ

Acorn Wildlife is growing fast, and we’re looking for a driven, personable, and hands-on Sales Consultant / Inspector to join our team.

This is a high-income opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and helping homeowners — while also building a serious career in sales.

You’ll be the first point of contact on jobs: inspecting homes, identifying wildlife issues, and creating solutions for customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspecting homes for wildlife activity and damage
  • Climbing ladders and performing roof and roofline inspections on every job
  • Working on roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and basements
  • Diagnosing problems and creating clear, professional proposals
  • Educating homeowners and guiding them through solutions
  • Following up on leads and closing jobs
  • Working closely with our service team to ensure smooth project handoff

Important Note About the Role

This is a hands-on position — every job requires ladder use and getting on roofs.

You must be comfortable working at heights and navigating rooflines safely. This is a core part of the job and one of the most important responsibilities.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who is:

  • Confident and comfortable talking with homeowners
  • Motivated by performance and earning potential
  • Comfortable on ladders, roofs, and in tight spaces
  • Detail-oriented and good at problem solving
  • Reliable, professional, and self-driven
  • Interested in sales, home services, and growth

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record preferred (violations won’t automatically disqualify you — just be upfront with us)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round
  • Comfortable accessing roofs, attics, and crawlspaces
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $30,000/year
  • Commission: 7.5% on generated sales

Top performers can earn $100,000+ annually.

What We Offer

  • Strong earning potential with uncapped commission
  • Paid training in wildlife inspection & sales
  • Company vehicle (for jobs), uniforms, phone/tablet
  • High-quality leads (no cold calling)
  • Long-term career growth opportunity

Schedule

Full-time – Monday to Friday
(Occasional Saturdays or overtime during busy season)
