Position

Welder • Machinist • Road Mechanic

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Day Shift
  • Monday–Friday
  • Frequent overtime opportunities available
  • Rotating after-hours and emergency service opportunities available
Pay

$25.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus plenty of overtime opportunities.
What You'll Do

  • Respond to roadside service calls for heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field
  • Perform emergency repairs to get customers back on the road safely
  • Complete preventive maintenance and minor repairs at customer locations
  • Perform specialized welding and machining repairs on heavy-duty truck and trailer axles
  • Communicate professionally with customers while representing Jack's Repair Service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck
  • Work independently while receiving support from our experienced shop team
What We're Looking For

  • Experience working on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks is preferred
  • Welding or machining experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation
