RN Weekend Supervisor, Saturday and Sunday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Ridgeway Rehab Center in Catonsville, Maryland. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, leading a team of dedicated nursing staff, and ensuring that our high standards of quality care are met.

** Responsibilities:**

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures

  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning resident care and facility operations

  • Coordinate with other resident services to ensure that residents' total regimen of care is maintained

  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program

  • Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the resident's discharge plan as necessary

  • Provide oversight and guidance to licensed staff (LPNs, GNAs, CMAs) on resident care

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, current licensure with State Board of Nursing Examiners

  • Ability to speak, read, and write the English language

  • Experience in a long-term care facility, preferably in a weekend supervisor or similar role
