Jones Family Farms is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Farm Equipment Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a team that takes pride in getting the job done right.

What You'll Do

  • Operate a variety of farm and agricultural equipment safely and efficiently
  • Haul manure and agricultural products as needed
  • Operate silage carts and silage trucks during harvest operations
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Grease and service equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Work closely with other operators and management to complete daily tasks
  • Travel to job sites when required

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating farm equipment
  • Dump truck or tractor-trailer experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance knowledge
  • Agricultural background or experience

Schedule & Hours

This position offers steady, year-round employment. Due to the seasonal nature of agriculture, employees should expect:

  • Average of 60–70 hours per week
  • Increased hours during planting, harvest, and other peak seasons
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and extended shifts when needed
  • Occasional travel for work assignments
