Title: Cybersecurity Assessor

Location: National Capital Area

Clearance: TS/SCI with a current CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in cybersecurity
  • Performs assessment and risk analyses of systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle,
  • Participates, and sometimes leads, in the planning, execution, and reporting of security audits and network vulnerability assessments with minimal supervision
  • Perform interviews, examinations, and testing of security controls
  • Assist in the preparation of assessment deliverables - Security Control Assessment Report, Security Risk Assessments, etc.
  • Plan, execute, and report on information technology, privacy, and operational reviews in order to identify mission, privacy, security, compliance, information technology, and regulatory risk
  • Experience with  Xacta and eMass.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 12 years of related work experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • SME in one or more of the following specialties: cloud and systems architectures, security architecture, cloud applications and storage, high-performance computing, and software development
  • Familiarity with IC and DOD Risk Management Frameworks, continuous monitoring, and risk scoring
  • IAT Level III certification: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH
  • Familiarity and/or experience with eMASS, Archer, ACAS, and Nessus-type tools and technologies desired
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with current a CI polygraph
