Home Health - Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Longview/Marshall, TX
Highland Park Senior Care Home Health
Job Summary
The Home Health - Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. They will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate nursing care. The Home Health - Registered Nurse will also educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention.
Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Provide education to patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
  • Adhere to all nursing standards and procedures
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • Experience in home health or hospice care preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
