Indirect Tax Analyst
Venteon is currently seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice headquartered in the Metro Detroit area. This full-time, onsite position will support global tax compliance and reporting within a dynamic and expanding organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of VAT or indirect tax experience across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tax analytics.
  • Proven ability to research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience collaborating with external auditors and international tax authorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage preparation and submission of VAT, excise, and fuel tax returns.
  • Research and monitor international VAT requirements, rates, and exemptions.
  • Coordinate compliance and audit responses across global business units.
  • Maintain relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Document tax processes and support system improvements.
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in departmental projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across filings and reports.
