Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

This full-time, hourly position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of medical equipment by inspecting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining devices that support hospitals and healthcare facilities. Essential Functions:

  • Test, inspect, and verify the functionality of medical equipment while performing accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements.
  • Assemble, clean, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently while ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
  • Complete manufacturer training, certifications, and other recommended courses to maintain technical expertise and competency.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for repairs, inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with the delivery, installation, setup, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Build professional relationships with hospital staff by providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
  • Interface with hospital systems and other customers as necessary to ensure equipment functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with receiving, processing, and preparing medical equipment for inventory and future deployment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies and safety procedures.
  • Support the Rental Operations team with additional responsibilities as business needs require.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field required
  • 4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment diagnostics, repair techniques, calibration, and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation
  • Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require
