Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Analyst in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support access processes while maintaining a visible presence. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail to help reduce security-related concerns. At Allied Universal, you will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around loading areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related awareness at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
