As a HVAC Technician, you will:

Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience | Shift: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am

The Engineer IV performs a variety of advanced journey level, lead and/or specialized trade tasks which could include upholstery, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry kitchen equipment and general maintenance; may act as a lead worker for assigned shift and ensure assignments are distributed and completed; performs duties with minimum or no supervision; provides advanced support duties to higher level management staff; and performs related tasks within area of assignment.

  • Maintains buildings by performing major routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment and HVAC maintenance.
  • Receives work assignments via HotSOS, executes assignments and completes work orders as directed.
  • Notifies Maintenance Supervisor or Manager concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing and equipment.
  • Contacts and coordinates work with outside vendors as directed.

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent plus five (4) years' experience in one of the required related maintenance fields (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry or Kitchen Equipment).
  • Advanced plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and general building repair.
  • Knowledge of Building management systems.
  • Knowledge of operations of Central Plant and emergency power distribution systems.
  • Interpret electrical wiring diagrams/drawings.
  • Read blueprints.
