Job Title:  Commercial Editor/Writer/Producer - WFOX/WJAX Telemundo Jacksonville

Position Overview

WFOX/WJAX/Telemundo Jacksonville is seeking a Commercial Producer to create compelling advertising content for clients and local businesses. This role will work under 30/47 Creative, the full-service production agency within WFOX/WJAX.

The Commercial Producer will develop innovative video content for broadcast and digital platforms in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is a passionate self-starter who works well with clients, brings creative ideas, collaborates effectively with teams, manages tight deadlines, and can oversee production planning and execution from concept through completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Write, produce, shoot, and edit commercial and marketing campaigns in English and Spanish.
  • Partner with the Creative Services Director, Production Manager, clients, sales teams, and internal departments to support branding and advertising strategies across platforms.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as business needs require.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and operate company vehicles as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in commercial production, media, and/or broadcast television.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and scriptwriting skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Ability to develop scripts for PSAs, testimonials, and retail projects.
  • Experience shooting with cinema cameras, lighting scenes, and editing with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ability to manage production planning and execution from start to finish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Production, Marketing, Broadcasting, or a related field.
  • Design and rich media experience.
