Retail Field Buyer & Sourcing Specialist – Full Time
Schedule: Mon–Fri (generally 8am–5pm, with flexibility based on sourcing opportunities)
About Us
Lifestyle Outfitters is a fast-growing eCommerce business specializing in multi-channel retail. We source products directly from trusted retailers and vendor partners, purchasing in volume and moving inventory quickly through our fulfillment centers. To support our growth, we’re hiring a Retail Field Buyer & Sourcing Specialist – Full Time to join our team.
About the Role
This is not a desk job. As a Buyer, you’ll be on the road daily in a company transit van, visiting retailers, identifying promotional opportunities, building vendor relationships, and making bulk purchasing decisions. This role requires flexibility, as sourcing opportunities and store availability may occasionally require early starts, late finishes, or adjusted routes.
You’ll represent Lifestyle Outfitters professionally while managing a company credit card and operating within defined spend and sourcing guidelines. You’ll also use technology and product research tools to analyze data and make informed decisions on what to buy, when to buy, and how much to buy.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being in the field, moving fast, and taking ownership of results.
What We’re Looking For
We will provide training, but the right candidate must bring:
  • Excellent driving record and ability to confidently operate a transit van
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with store managers and vendor contacts
  • Comfort managing company funds responsibly and accurately
  • Strong technology skills — ability to use apps, spreadsheets, and research tools
  • Ability to read and interpret product data (such as Keepa charts) to make disciplined purchasing decisions
  • A self-starter mindset — able to work independently while representing the company with integrity
  • Strong organizational skills to track purchases, receipts, and expenses
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Drive a company transit van to multiple retailer locations daily
  • Identify promotional, excess, or underpriced inventory opportunities
  • Execute volume purchases within company guidelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and vendor contacts
  • Use product research tools to validate buying decisions before purchase
  • Track receipts, reports, and purchase records accurately
  • Ensure company funds are used responsibly and transparently
  • Represent Lifestyle Outfitters professionally in all vendor interactions
Why Join Lifestyle Outfitters
  • Competitive pay with growth opportunity
  • Company vehicle and tools provided
  • Training on product research, vendor management, and eCommerce strategy
  • A role with real responsibility, autonomy, and accountability
  • Clear opportunity to grow into senior buying or leadership roles
  • Be part of a fast-scaling company with a proven track record
How to Apply
If you’re ready for a role that combines independence, responsibility, and growth, apply with the word “Buyer” so we know you read the details along with your resume submission.
