Job description
The Tour Guide drives visitors in the "Pear" tour bus from the Harry & David Country Village to the manufacturing plant. This position conducts a walking tour through the Harry & David bakery and candy kitchen and production areas in a safe manner, while providing the history and fun facts and figures about the company.
- Enthusiastically greets visitors and provides them with a positive tour experience.
- Answers visitors' questions with detail and poise.
- Monitors and leads groups safely through the premises with knowledge of all fire exits, elevators, benches and restroom facilities.
- Assists visitors enter and exit the tour bus with special attention to children, elderly and disabled guests.
- Monitors area and communicates with visitors to ensure their safety.
- Shuttle driver for Special Events and Meetings as needed.
- Provides VIP tours, if needed.
- Oregon Driver License
- Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for 8-10 hours per day.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Must possess a good driving record.
- This is a safety sensitive position subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
