We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and keep our operations running smoothly across multiple locations.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician at Tornado Laundromat, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and facilities remain in excellent condition. This role requires a versatile skill set, as you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of machines and general upkeep of our laundromats.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Performing routine maintenance on washers and dryers.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing and electrical issues.
  • Conducting regular morning walk-throughs to ensure all equipment is free of debris and functioning properly.
  • Using power tools such as pressure washers and shop vacuums to clean and maintain facilities.
  • Performing paint touch-ups and minor cosmetic repairs as needed.
  • Maintaining a structured maintenance schedule and detailed service records.
  • Traveling to multiple facilities within Amarillo to address maintenance needs.
What Were Looking For:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prior maintenance experience or a role requiring the use of tools is mandatory.
  • Tools Knowledge: Ability to operate pressure washers, shop vacuums, and other power tools.
  • Judgment: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess basic operational functions of equipment.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a structured maintenance schedule and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Travel: Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between laundromat locations.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
  • Experience with appliances, especially washing machines or dryers.
  • Background in plumbing or electrical work.
  • Ability to track and manage parts
  • Ability to use a company laptop & email to source parts and look at manuals & diagrams.
