Position Overview:
The Director, Strategic Planning plays a critical role in supporting TOCA's financial planning, strategic decision-making, and growth initiatives across both TOCA Soccer and TOCA Social.
This role leads financial modeling, forecasting, investment analysis, and executive reporting while partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to support financing activities, operational planning, acquisitions, and long-term growth strategy.
Operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, this role helps translate complex business data into actionable insights that drive performance, scalability, and informed decision-making across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and enjoys combining analytical rigor with strategic problem-solving.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis
  • Own and maintain corporate financial models across TOCA Soccer and TOCA Social
  • Support short-term and long-term forecasting, scenario planning, and cash flow management
  • Develop ROI analyses, bridge analyses, and strategic workpapers to support business decisions
  • Build scalable financial tools and reporting frameworks that improve visibility and decision-making
  • Analyze business performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership

Executive Reporting & Board Materials
  • Build and manage executive-level presentations and financial materials for leadership, board meetings, financing discussions, and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure all financial outputs, models, and presentations are accurate, organized, and aligned with leadership expectations
  • Support preparation of materials related to strategic transactions, investments, or potential future exit scenarios

Financing & Investor Support
  • Support financing processes through preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting outputs for financing partners
  • Develop investor-ready models and supporting materials for financing and growth initiatives
  • Manage equipment financing workflows and evaluate alternative financing opportunities
  • Participate in investor and financing partner discussions, supporting analysis, modeling, and follow-up materials
  • Assist with data room management and financing-related due diligence processes

TOCA Soccer Financial Planning & Growth
  • Partner with TOCA Soccer leadership to support long-term planning and center-level forecasting
  • Support acquisition analyses, investment modeling, and strategic growth opportunities
  • Conduct center-level CapEx ROI analyses, including evaluation of operational impact and market considerations
  • Support monthly operating review processes and performance analysis in partnership with operational leadership
  • Develop financial analyses and presentations related to new centers, growth opportunities, and real estate partnerships

TOCA Social Financial Planning & Expansion
  • Own and evolve site-level financial models and projections for TOCA Social
  • Partner with TOCA Social leadership to evaluate venue opportunities, sensitivities, and operational scenarios
  • Build dynamic modeling tools that improve forecasting flexibility and KPI visibility
  • Support franchise analysis, territory evaluation, and franchisee performance reporting
  • Evaluate real estate and partnership opportunities through financial modeling and investment analysis

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in financial planning & analysis, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including experience building complex and dynamic financial models
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financing activities, or strategic investment analysis
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights and executive-level presentations
  • Strong business acumen and ability to support decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership teams
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
  • Experience with multi-location, consumer, hospitality, sports, or growth-stage businesses preferred
