- Experience in nursing; 1 year preferred
- Completion of Pediatric Course ACT 548
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire
- Crisis Prevention Training within six months of hire
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Emergency Nurses Pediatric Core Course (ENPC) preferred
- Current Louisiana RN licensure required

What You Will Do:
Coordinate and provide exceptional patient care across all stages-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-in collaboration with the patient, family, physician, and support services.
- Conduct initial and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments
- Identify nursing diagnoses and prioritize patient outcomes
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care with interdisciplinary input
- Deliver direct patient care and education aligned with plan of care
- Administer and monitor treatments, medications, and procedural sedation
- Maintain thorough documentation in the medical record
- Evaluate patient progress and update care plans accordingly
- Perform triage assessments and focused assessments across all age groups
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate on discharge planning and coordinate with support services
- Perform additional duties as assigned
