Handyman/Maintenance Technician KC Auto Clinics (4 Locations)

Position Overview

The Handyman Maintenance Technician supports all four KC Auto Clinics locations by performing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and smallscale facility improvements. This role keeps each shop safe, functional, and customerready. The technician travels between locations as needed, so a valid license and clean driving record are essential.

Key Responsibilities

General Repairs Patch walls, repair doors, fix shelving, replace ceiling tiles, assemble equipment, and handle minor carpentry.

Electrical Work Replace outlets, switches, ballasts, lighting fixtures, breakers (within nonlicensed scope), and troubleshoot minor electrical issues.

Plumbing Tasks Repair leaks, replace faucets, clear drains, maintain restrooms, and ensure water systems function properly.

HVAC Support Replace filters, clean units, troubleshoot basic issues, and coordinate with licensed HVAC contractors when needed.

Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled inspections, maintain equipment logs, and identify issues before they become costly repairs.

Facility Upkeep Maintain parking lots, signage, exterior lighting, and shop cleanliness standards.

Travel Between Locations Respond to work orders across all KC Auto Clinics locations in a timely manner.
