Job description

The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation is seeking a weekend Tennis Shop and Court Maintenance Associate to join our team. This position is hands on, member facing, and responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the tennis shop and the facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Tennis Shop

• Opening and closing the shop

• Answering phones, sending and replying to emails

• Booking Courts

• Helping to create marketing pieces for program offerings and upcoming events

• Helping with monthly inventory

• Keeping the shop presentable for members at all times

• Assisting in merchandise orders, deliveries and returns

• Stocking the beverage cooler

• Daily billing for lessons, clinics, camps, etc.

Maintenance

• Daily clay court grooming, (sweeping, rolling & lining)

• Daily blowing of leaves and debris from all courts, pathways and common areas

• Daily trash removal from courts and surrounding areas

• Daily replenishing of the water coolers and cups

• Repair and hang windscreens as needed

• Wipe down and clean benches as needed

• Resetting all furniture in common areas as needed

• Watering clay courts as needed

• Drying courts as needed

• Helping with annual resurfacing as needed Other

• Provides quality service to all members and guests

• Attends staff meetings as appropriate

• Attends company training/seminar events as appropriate

• Performs other tasks as appropriate
