Location: Gibson Hotel Management, Inc. Corporate Office | Knoxville, TN
Full Time, Exempt, Salaried Position with Bonus Structure
Gibson Hotel Management is seeking a Corporate Director of Sales to support the continued growth and performance of our hotel portfolio. This above-property leadership role works closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing, General Managers, and on-property sales teams to execute strategic sales initiatives, strengthen market presence, and drive top-line revenue results.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven hospitality sales leader with multi-property experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for mentoring sales teams. This role ensures consistent execution of brand sales strategies across the portfolio while helping develop and inspire high-performing Directors of Sales.

What You'll Do Drive Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Support the VP of Sales & Marketing in executing comprehensive sales strategies that achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Partner with Revenue Management, General Managers, and property sales teams to align sales efforts with business objectives
  • Analyze sales performance, STR reports, and market data to identify opportunities and implement data-driven strategies
  • Conduct market research, segment tracking, and competitive analysis to strengthen market positioning

Lead & Develop Sales Teams
  • Mentor, coach, and support Directors of Sales & Marketing across the portfolio
  • Assist in developing training and learning curriculum for hotel sales teams
  • Collaborate with property leadership to establish and monitor 30-60-90-day sales action plans

Build Strategic Relationships
  • Develop strong partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and key business partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate new business

Portfolio & Operational Support
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand sales and marketing programs across all properties
  • Conduct on-site property visits to evaluate sales performance and support local sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with Directors of Sales to manage sales and marketing budgets and evaluate ROI on investments
  • Provide temporary sales leadership coverage when needed due to extended absence of property sales leaders
  • Complete weekly sales reporting and provide insights to corporate leadership

What We're Looking ForExperience
  • 3-5+ years of multi-property hotel sales leadership experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of hospitality sales strategy, market segmentation, and revenue management collaboration
