Telecommunications Cable Ground Hand

B&A Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Cable Ground Hand to support our fiber optic and coaxial cable construction crews. This position assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground telecommunications infrastructure. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and enjoy working outdoors, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities

  • Assist with fiber optic and coaxial cable installation and construction of U/G missile crew and/or Drill Crew.
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Help install conduit, pull cable, and prepare job sites.
  • Perform digging, trenching, and general labor.
  • Set up traffic control and maintain safe work zones.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures.
Qualifications

  • Construction, utility, or telecommunications experience preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and eager to learn.
  • Overtime and travel may be required.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
