Job Duties:
This positions reports to the Wynne Unit Mechanical Shop on a daily basis. Duties include oversight of mechanical shop operations and staff, and direct supervision of incarcerated inmates. This mechanical shop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the TDCJ heavyduty fleet, including transportation buses, freight trucks and equipment. Day to day functions include oversight of mechanical operations, security of the shop, and procurement functions, as well as administrative duties.
