Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide break/fix replacement and removal of all TACLANE devices in the JSP environment upon request for removal, incident, or Local Configuration Request (LCR).
  • Manage TACLANE configurations, including but not limited to key loading, interface configurations, and network settings.
  • Ensure compliance with NSA/CSS Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) guidelines and TACLANE operational best practices.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents involving TACLANE devices, including unauthorized access attempts or suspected breaches.
  • Work with security teams to investigate incidents, implement remediation measures, and report findings to appropriate authorities.
  • Monitor the performance and health of TACLANE devices using monitoring tools and logs.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks or issues to optimize device performance and network throughput.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of TACLANE configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Generate regular reports on TACLANE status, performance metrics, and compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to other team members and end-users on TACLANE operations, best practices, and security protocols.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:
    • 5-8 years’ experience
  • Training: (One of the following)
    • GEM One Encryptor Manager Operator Training
    • TACLANE Encryptor Training
    • CBT ND-111 COMSEC Accountability & Control
    • NSA COMSEC Course (IAEC-2112)
    • Local COMSEC Management SW (LCMS)
    • Security Refresher Information Assurance (IA) Training
  • Certifications:
    • CompTIA Security+ CE
    • Computing Environment Certification:
      • CCNA or higher
  • Clearance: Must possess Top Secret/SCI clearance

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $48,000 - $125,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
