Type: Full-Time

Shift Time : 3 PM to 11:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly disciplined Production Operator to execute all core technical stages of solid-dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role is responsible for processing active materials through multiple phases, including dispensing, granulation, milling, compression, and encapsulation. Operating within a regulated cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) cleanroom environment, you will be responsible for machine setups, strict equipment sanitization, and flawless batch records. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical communication skills and the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot automated pharmaceutical machinery under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end manufacturing operations, including materials dispensing, granulation, sifting, milling, and drying workflows.
  • Setup, operate, and closely monitor specialized machinery for the compression, encapsulation, and coating of solid-dosage products.
  • Master the mechanical disassembly, technical setup, and verification of high-speed pharmaceutical production machinery.
  • Wash, sanitize, and deep-clean all processing equipment and mechanical parts according to rigid cleanroom SOPs.
  • Complete all master batch records, material tracking logs, and yield calculations in an accurate, thorough, and legible manner in English.
  • Follow all approved Standard Operating Procedures, chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and batch protocols without deviation.
  • Ensure assigned manufacturing suites are cleaned, organized, and maintained following good housekeeping practices.
  • Actively identify line anomalies, clear operational jams, and perform minor mechanical adjustments to minimize processing downtime.
  • Participate transparently in formal Quality Investigations, deviance tracking, and root-cause analyses alongside compliance teams.
  • Securely don all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including full or partial facepieces according to OSHA standards.
  • Maintain impeccable personal hygiene habits and gowning standards required for a sterile processing environment.
  • Assist manufacturing management in executing commercial and experimental development runs efficiently to hit strict timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Practical familiarity working inside a regulated environment, preferably a solid-dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
  • Hands-on experience setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting industrial processing equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the capability to pass technical written and physical execution tests.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-step processing schedules safely with minimal direct oversight.
  • Full capability to stand continuously for an 8-hour shift and lift/move processing materials weighing up to 30 lbs (14 kg) without assistance.
  • Fit-tested or capable of being certified to wear full and partial respiratory facepieces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a dedicated Pharmaceutical Life Science field of study.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale chemical blending, fluid-bed drying, or high-speed tablet press machinery.
