Purpose of Role:

The Maintenance Manager – Fixed Plant Equipment is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and governance for all fixed plant maintenance activities across the Copper World processing facilities.

The role is accountable for maintenance execution, planning and scheduling, shutdown management, electrical and instrumentation maintenance, maintenance readiness, workforce development, and asset care programs to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

The position supports project development, commissioning, startup, ramp-up, and operational excellence through close collaboration with Operations, Metallurgy, Reliability, Process Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operational Readiness teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related discipline. 
• Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience in mining or heavy industrial operations. 
• Minimum 10 years supporting large mineral processing facilities. 
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance leadership positions. 

Preferred

• Copper concentrator experience. 
• Greenfield project experience. 
• Commissioning and startup experience. 
• Project Management experience
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities may be required for this position.

The work environment will necessitate work near moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions such as hot and/or dry conditions. Work will be conducted in locations where noise, fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration may exist. Employee must be able to prove that he/she has a current and valid driver’s license.
