Job description
Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Epileptologist to join its well-established and resourced Division of Neurology. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-functioning academic epilepsy program, supported by 6 NIH-funded grants and a robust surgical epilepsy infrastructure. The position involves both outpatient clinical and academic responsibilities within a 228-bed children's hospital and Level 1 trauma center.
Practice Info
- NAEC Level 4 epilepsy program
- Division of 11 pediatric neurologists, including 4 board-certified epileptologists and a clinical neurophysiologist
- Performs 20+ epilepsy surgeries per year with active neurostimulation clinic (VNS and RNS)
- Epilepsy monitoring units at Detroit and Troy locations, with overnight EEG supported by Stratus
- Faculty appointment at Central Michigan University College of Medicine
- 228-bed children's hospital and Level 1 trauma center, part of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC)
