Property Manager

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Location: Novato - CA

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join an established organization overseeing a diverse residential portfolio of properties.  This is a front-line role for someone who enjoys working directly with tenants, resolving issues, interpreting leases, and keeping property operations moving forward. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of tenant matters and will have the judgment and experience to determine responsibilities under the lease, including what falls to the tenant, property owner, or management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant issues
• Review and interpret leases, including responsibilities, restrictions, and obligations
• Evaluate tenant requests and property-related concerns and determine appropriate next steps
• Communicate lease requirements, policies, compliance matters, and resolutions clearly and professionally
• Coordinate residential and commercial leasing activities
• Manage tenant onboarding and offboarding
• Prepare tenant correspondence and documentation
• Track property and tenant matters through resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and management
• Help ensure a responsive, professional experience for tenants while protecting the interests of the property owner

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong residential property management experience
• Experience handling a high volume of tenant relations and property issues
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply lease provisions
• Thorough understanding of tenant, owner, and property management responsibilities
• Confidence resolving difficult or sensitive tenant situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong judgment, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and issues simultaneously
• CCRM certification preferred
