Job Title: Ground Show Technician (Tech Crew)

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Job Summary

Have you ever wanted to be a part of the world-class production at Dolly Parton's Stampede? Now is your chance! We are in search of energetic individuals with fantastic attitudes to join our tech crew. As a Ground Show Technician, you are at the heart of the action-making the behind-the-scenes and in-sand magic happen.

In this role, you will safely manage arena prop transitions, assist with our animal stars, and directly engage with our guests during interactive show segments. We welcome all levels of talent and provide comprehensive, on-the-job training to support your success!

Key Responsibilities

  • Arena & Prop Management: Swiftly and accurately move, set up, and strike large props and equipment in the arena and between events to keep the live show running seamlessly.
  • Animal Handling Support: Assist with getting barn animals safely on and off-stage before, during, and after the live performance.
  • Guest Engagement: Actively assist and guide guests during our live, interactive audience events, ensuring they have a safe and memorable experience.
  • Production Support: Work collaboratively with the stage management, barn staff, and fellow tech crew members to maintain show quality and safety standards.

Essential Qualities & Requirements

  • Team Player: Must maintain a positive, professional relationship with guests and fellow employees.
  • Energetic Personality: Comfortable being in front of large crowds and performing tasks in the live arena spotlight.
  • Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic live-theater environment alongside various barn animals.
  • Physically Fit: This is a physically demanding role. You must have the ability to stand, walk, and run in deep arena sand for extended periods. Medium to heavy lifting is required before, during, and after shows.
  • Reliable & Available: Must maintain excellent attendance and have a reliable mode of transportation. Because our show runs daily, open availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
