Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Own delivery of the systems you architect from start-to-finish, doing what it takes to get things shipped with quality and that scale in production.
  • Take ownership of key software projects, such as firmware/OS integration and optimization of edge processing to deliver product goals, overseeing their successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous adoption of AI within the software landscape.
  • Set and enforce high standards of code quality, testing, and software development best practice across both hardware and software.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 + years of experience, demonstrated ability to influence architecture across teams.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code and serverless technologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Successful delivery of complex and scalable software solutions with a strategic impact on business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and security best practices.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud with emphasis on data ingestion, business intelligence, and security best practices.
  • Experience with STM32 firmware boards.
  • Experience with sensor-integrated IoT hardware is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI Spec-Driven development.
