Software Engineer - Columbia, Maryland
Salary Range: $85,000-$150,000

In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks junior or mid level software engineers to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development and modernization programs. This notice is for development and support of the AEGIS Combat System's Display Subsystem (ADS) to maintain and update the existing source code and functionality. This will include verification of issues written as Problem Reports against ADS, investigation of software fixes, implementation and testing of those fixes, and integrating those fixes back into the system.
We seek self-starters capable of independent effort as well as participation on a small team.
This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site in our office in Columbia, Maryland.
Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and hold an active Department of Defense secret clearance.
Duties:
  • Prepare Software Engineering design documentation
  • Utilize modern software development tools in an agile environment to design, develop, integrate, and test software solutions for the Aegis Display Subsystem
  • Develop object-oriented C++ and Java code in a Linux environment
  • Prepare and present engineering material within the peer review process and to customer as appropriate
  • Travel to the customer site to perform investigation, testing, or integration of software fixes

Requirements:
  • Must be US Citizen and have an active DoD secret clearance
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Must have 1+ years of experience with C++ in a professional setting
