Envisioneering, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Software Developer at Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate with experience with DevSecOps and secure code development. The selected candidate will function as part of software team responsible for delivering capabilities on Navy EW systems. Candidate must possess effective communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with government and industry partners on system integration. Position may include work with C++, Python, Java, Rust, MySQL, Docker/PodMan, React, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and REST API. Travel up to 20% required for testing and integration at partner locations. IT certifications.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
  • Top Secret DoD clearance.
  • 3-10 years of experience in DevSecOps software development.
  • Use of various DevSecOps or CI/CD tools as needed to accomplish objectives.
  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and integrates software that meets requirements.
  • Identifies obstacles to software delivery and works with project team to identify path forward.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet program goals.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3 years of experience with DevSecOps software development.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance.

Education: Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (IT) or other STEM field is required.
SALARY RANGE: $160,000.00 -$180,000.00
