The Digital Products Configuration Management (DPCM), formerly known as Software Configuration Management (SWCM), department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital products, including software, COTS and FOSS components, simulations, MBSE models and artifacts, test equipment software, and other program-critical digital assets.
SWCM department is hiring a Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer I, to work as a Data/Software Transfer Agent onsite in Woburn, MA.
What You Will Do:
  • Perform and execute digital data/file transfers among isolated or segmented networks
  • Provide courier support among various environments/networks
  • Apply data classification rules to ensure only authorized data moves between networks
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
  • Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
  • Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
  • Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items
  • Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
  • Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
  • Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an ***interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
