We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer - CFD/Thermal to join our team in one of today's most excitingtechnologies. This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering.

Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CFD/Thermal studies for Energy server enclosures and site installations.
  • Provide regular guidance on enclosure thermal management for Product development, from concept to production.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams for feasibility study.
  • Report and present results/recommendations across diverse groups.

Skills and Experience:

  • MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
  • Deep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.
  • 5+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD in Thermal management, in Electronics/Data center cooling.
  • Highly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Icepak(preferred)/Fluent/Flotherm.
  • Able to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter and a quick learner.
