Responsibilities:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for confectionery and beverage products based on quality, price, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and product improvements.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in forecasting demand and adjusting inventory levels.
  • Support cross-functional teams in product development, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Occasional travel to industry trade shows is preferred but not required.

Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of purchasing experience in candy or beverage.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and collaborate with warehouse personnel on incoming and outgoing shipments and purchase orders.

Full-Time position requiring 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-site work located in Robinson Township, PA at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center.
