As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, transit location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and document observations through clear and timely reports.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and public-facing inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at government transit locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
