Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday 0800-1700
Basic Requirements: 21+, 2 years of physical security experience, 6 months of supervisory experience.

Position Summary: The Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Shift Lead will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees the shift workflow of the department.

Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.

Keep accurate logs throughout your scheduled shift

Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting

Detailed Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions

Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

Maintain the security and safety of the hospital community

Patrol the facility, ensuring the continual safety and security of all hospital staff, patients and visitors

Maintain a physical presence within the hospital facility; serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity

Positively contribute to the overall patient experience by providing superior customer care

Provide an empathetic approach to managing patient aggression

Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur on the property

Respond to emergency situations that require security assistance

Required Skills/Abilities:

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years' related experience required

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
